I registered specific website names with Go Daddy some time ago supposedly for a 2 year period. One requirement was to "update" my information every 6 months or so which I did. I had one particular name that was VERY marketable. Well BEFORE the 2 year period I received an e-mail from someone who had purchased MY .com. I ignored the e-mail and made NO offer to repurchase what I "thought" I owned.Well BEFORE the expiration of the 2 year time period a transaction appeared on my credit card statement indicating that Go Daddy had made a charge to my account to renew the few other web sites I "supposedly" owned and had ADDED numerous other site names I never purchased and would NEVER have had an interest in. Instead of a small amount of money required to renew tha names I actually contracted for, they had charged a sum I did NOT owe that was OUTRAGEOUS. The amount of money they took that they were NOT entitled to would have been a FELONY in any state in the country!I immediately contacted Go Daddy and over a period of 10 days or so obtained a FULL refund and ended my association with them FOR ALL TIME!!! They realized, I'm sure, that there was NO WAY they could defend what they had done (after all, NO WAY could they prove I owed money for sites that I never purchased). I warn everyone who wishes to set up a website what happened to me with Go Daddy. I have no clue what someone would do to protect their interest (such as a Copyright or whatever) and manage to keep control of a prosperous website when they seem to be so easily misapproppriated.I will consult with a lawyer to insure that I protect my interest in the future. My advice to everyone...be careful...TRUST NO ONE!! And, make absolutely sure you SAVE and maintained records of EVERY TRANSACTION to the END OF TIME!!
We just released our animated short film "Pigeon: Impossible" which was done entirely in XSI. The 6-minute short. Amazing Work.... keep it up...

“Actually, in my company, all I use my computer for is dicking around... except I can't take my computer to the ***** to play scrabble. Maybe the iPhone can 'breeze-dry' my ***** now too.

And the hits per game is heavily influenced by the fact that the Royals defense sucks, while Felix plays in a pitchers park with baseball's best defense behind him. It's not really debatable. And this is from a Seattleite who is sitting five feet from a Felix bobblehead.

I like how only 3 or 4 of them mention things highlighting something about the state not related to them.

Their website says they offer alternative and complementary therapies. That means you can get a nice back rub while you die of cancer. Awesome.Alternative therapies == you're desperate, and we'll gladly take any money you have left before you die.

You do realize that the problem isn't whether or not an insurance company covers this specific drug. Its that the company first said they did, then after treatment was administered, and the person passed away, the Insurance company said, "Oh look, we had our fingers crossed" and sent the widow a bill anyway. Had they been up front about saying, "No, we don't actually cover that drug," this story wouldn't have happened. |
