| The reuctance to pay homage to him? ARe they kidding? There is more than one way to pay homage to Jordan that by retiring his number across hte league. And other players have impacted the sport just as much as Jordan. |

Fortunately, it will work. So when we go back in time, we'll be able to prevent you from going back in time so we'll never have go back in time to prevent you from going back in time. Ok, time to go.

I used to operate a Nuclear Reactor (directly control), at the Hanford Nuclear Reservationto produce plutonium for the DOE.It was a graphite moderated type, as was the Chernobyl reactor. When Chernobyl went up, we went down. While there are all kinds of new reactor designs on paper, The first thing I noticed in the article was the mention of it's use of helium as a coolant. We are running out of helium, there is only one source of helium which used to be controlled by the Government; as the WWII production reactors used helium as an inert atmosphere within the reactor, not as a coolant. It wouldn't be wise to rely upon a limited supply of helium as a coolant for a reactor, in any long term investment.Google: helium shortage - first hit (Wired) is a good one.The Pebble bed reactor as mentioned at the beginning of this thread is the most likely design to be produced in the U.S. (China is already constructing them), and can use other gases as a coolant.FWIW: google earth:46°41'00.62" N, 119°30'12.00" W (all one line, and search)You need to zoom out of course, but that's the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, the first Grey site in the lower left is B-Reactor the first production reactor ever built. and now a historic site. I operated the third one up on the left, N-Reactor. These are old pictures as all but B reactor have been disassembled, the reactors themselves being entombed, or buried. As for sent fuel elements, they are still stored there. There was one plan of creating a religion, it's purpose - to pass on to future generations not to dig in the area for 10,000 years (Honest).

Well, there's this from 2006: http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/36228"Apple Wins Deal to Keep iTunes Downloads at 99 Cents Despite Record Company Hesitation"It took six months of negotiating, as the music industry wanted to introduce a tiered pricing system that would allow them to charge more for new or popular songs, while Apple urged the companies to keep all song pricing the same across the board at 99 cents."Then there was this from 2007:http://news.cnet.com/Apples-Jobs-calls-for-DRM-fre ..."Apple's Jobs calls for DRM-free music"The letter, posted on Apple's Web site and titled "Thoughts on Music," is a long examination of Apple's iTunes and what the future may hold for the online distribution of copy-protected music. In the letter, Jobs says Apple was forced to create a DRM system to get the world's four largest record companies on board with the iTunes Store."Really, just run a Google search for "Apple fights to keep iTunes $0.99" or similar phrasing ("Jobs", "99 cents" etc) and you'll find a bevy of articles backing this up.It's entirely possible that Jobs has manipulated the entire mass media into twisting the good guy/bad guy roles around, but it's hardly a shocker to see the RIAA & labels as the greedier of the two (OK, Jobs is greedy too, but he's not as stupid as they are).
