"It works fine."That depends on where it is you want to go. For joy rides into near earth orbit (i.e. the space shuttle) it sorta works .... except for a few spectacular failures. For anything beyond the moon, it's pretty much a one way trip. It takes months to get there and it's very difficult to bring along enough fuel to make your way back. For any serious manned exploration, the first thing that *must* be replaced is the propulsion system. This means putting money into scientific research ... *not* more manned joyrides just for the sake of the publicity. If we ever do get off this rock, the Large Hadron Collider (and similar projects) will have as much if not more to do with it than anything at NASA.

That's bull. I was a grocer and could easily point out how to eat healthily and cheaper. You just need to learn how to cook and stop buying premade food and ordering out/going to restaurants.Green ***** beansWater (absolutely no soda)ApplesPotatoesCanned veggiesBananasCabbageNone of those are expensive or bad for you. It was so ridiculous seeing fatasses buying ***** loads of food and then complain about how it's too expensive to lose weight. Especially if they also bought cigs. I have no sympathy.

“Yeah, because 3-mile island was the biggest nuclear accident of our time. A pity that the US Exclusion Zone won't be safe for human resettlement for at least 50 more years. Oh... wait. 3-mile island's safety / containment features WORKED during the meltdown. The station released minimal radiation levels, considering the reactor MELTED ***** DOWN! Also, it's the SINGLE semi-serious commercial nuclear accident in the US. The government/military reactors -- you know, the ones that AREN'T commercially owned / operated -- have had serious accidents / radiation releases far more often. Not to mention the 3-mile island reactors are obsolete - the newer reactors are 100X safer. I'm all for having some government regulation on business, and I'm all for sticking it to corporate entities that are greedy as ***** - but give credit where it's due. The private sector in the US has actually done a pretty bang-up job operating the US nuclear infrastructure.
