The spent fuel is less dangerous then the byproducts of coal or natural gas facilities and is easier to store. Nothing like pumping billions of tons of carcinogens into the air.
Never. Like a poorly made pressure cooker you vainly try to hold back this monster you have created. The harder you screw it down the more tension it will create and that seal you rely on gets more precariously weaker. Don't worry Grand Ayatollah you and your limp grinning muppet of a President will get what is coming to you in this world or the next.

Here are 3 examples of what GamerXR72 was talking about:Direct conversion of light to electricity: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photoelectric_effect e.g.: calculators in elementary schoolDirect conversion of heat to electricity: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermoelectric_effect e.g.: any digital thermometerDirect conversion of mechanical stress to electricity: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piezoelectricity e.g.: any digital scaleThe reason these methods are appealing is that there is only one conversion from the input energy to create an electric current. You don't have to burn it, generate mechanical energy, convert it into an electromagnetic field, and then harness that field to drive a current. You also aren't creating significant wasteful byproducts, like heat, water, pollution, ash, radiation, etc.Unfortunately, these methods for energy capture are not economical on a large scale at this time..
I wish more people thought about this before they decide to go off on someone who's probably just doing their best to be helpful and is in an extremely limited environment or capacity to do so.!

It would suck so much wang to be 80 when immortality is realized. Who wants to be an old decrepit man forever? If they don't master it before I'm 50, and it can't reverse the signs of aging, I don't want it!?

OMG She showed a little leg how scandals. Has the world been taken over by Amish or is she just pulling at straws here. Sexist is putting her picture in the women only part of the magazine. She is on the cover just like many women have. To state that it's in bad taste the picture they chose might be a better response but guess what it's there magazine they can put whatever picture they want on it. If your going to complain or bicker why not debate about the contents of the article. There was a lot of trash talk about her in that article so why hasn't she responded to that vs just the freakin picture. I understand most books she reads are pop up books and half the story is the picture but this is a grown up book and should be treated as such.
