I somewhat disagree... Taking multiple exposures of the same image and combining them using the best exposures of each would be fairly analogous to modifying the tonal values to a perfect pitch.A better microphone would pick up more imperfections and cut out more noise. A poor singer would not sound better with a better mic, whereas a good singer would sound bad with a poor mic.A camera that can create a "perfect" picture doesn't help the user become a better photographer.I used to shoot professionally, and the best advice I got when I was learning was to shoot slide film because it is much less forgiving than print film. It teaches you how to get the best exposure by having a more restrictive exposure latitude, so you have to learn how to do it right. Also, at least for me, a big part of the enjoyment was knowing when to press the shutter, and knowing that you got the shot.I suppose you could compare it to hunting with a machine gun and a rocket launcher. You may get more game, and It would be fun to fire, but it would also take the "Sport" out of the hunt, and the satisfaction from the success, because anyone could have done it just as easily.
I liked the "POP SWATCH" from the 80's. It could be clipped onto any fabric.http://www.swatchandbeyond.com/index.php?categoryI ...

Newsweek's toast (and Time isn't far behind. The problem for a traditional newsweekly is that they're printed on Friday nights usually (or used to be, since Time comes out on Friday now), and are de facto filled with "old news." With the reading attention of consumers spread all over map, why would anyone wait for a print copy of Newsweek to be delivered on Monday or Tuesday, days after the contents were assembled? And moving to "think" pieces isn't new either; there are already plenty of them. Like Life in the early 70s, Look in the 60s, even an institution like Newsweek can die of old age..
Catching telecoms engaging in blocking internet traffic is real data, and they have been caught red handed a number of times. If we called this Heidi's Law (like they do for anecdotal evidence of child abuse) would that be more palatable for people to think this is a priority to stop the bad behavior of telecoms?!

Here are some unintended but real consequences:1. This only affects poor women. Those of better financial means will afford them and get them anyway. A poor woman with another child will keep her in poverty.2. Desperate women will endanger their lives having back-alley abortions which will in turn generate more expensive ER cases. These are not value judgments, just observations. Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

Great, if the swine flu doesn't kill us all, the piranhas most certainly will.
