Seriously though. Disuse is of a law is better than to fix it?This is just inviting abuse. The western world is falling to the trap of having too much laws. Laws that can be selectively enforced to suppress opposition.
Apple trains their support staff to be very friendly and accommodating, one of the many reasons I buy their products. I'm still scarred from the last time I had to call Microsoft to activate a legal copy of Windows.

“Too me, it looked like this anaconda was 8 feet long at minimum. For one, you shouldn't be alone in South American jungles. For two, what the ***** kinda position was he into get bitten like that? Was he laying down? I know that green & yellow anacondas have a nice "lunge" range, but height is something that they don't have. Also it looked like they'd never been in a situation like that before. If you're being wrapped by a large snake python or boa (anacondas are boas), grab the tail & unwrap from there. Odds are, the snake will let go once it feels it's tail being threatened. If not, which in this case it probably wouldn't have worked as that snake was pissed off, for one, stand the ***** up & don't be a baby about getting bit by a snake like that, then work it's teeth out from your arm.Before you say, "Like you've been in a situation like that..." I have been in a situation like that with a reticulated python where I used to work. She bit my leg & started wrapping the other. Luckily, I'm smart enough to have a second person with me when I'm around a snake that's 10+ feet.They deserved it.

Exactly! I think this story's kicker is that the kid is 15! I can imagine a little kid not realizing how serious calling 911 is, but a 15 year old? Not cool.

This is really about trying to create a wedge issue by private health insurance so they can continue to have a monopoly and make money instead of caring for the sick. Health care reform does not advance or degrade abortion rights (if the stupak amendment is rejected) and people should realize that. A strong public option breaks the private health insurance monopoly by allowing people to chose their existing private health insurance or a government health insurance (or just the government health insurance if private health care refuses to care for them or is price prohibitive) |
