I own a piranha and I've had "chompy" for many years. Yes he is a predator, but nothing like the movies. The issue has nothing to do with piranhas, but with foreign species in an ecosystem. I've lived in Alberta where it is illegal to have rats to make sure there is not rat infestation in the province. Florida should be doing the same thing, banning pythons and piranhas to keep their local habitats intact.
