The Army abuses the hell out of its personnel. When I was in the Air Force on a rotator back from Kuwait I was sitting next to an Army Sergeant. He was telling me how excited he was to finally go back home to see his wife and kids. Then he said he had to enjoy every moment since he was being rotated back 3 months later. The decision to be in the military is not to be taken lightly as it requires sacrifice. However, the Army and Marines (Air Force and Navy were FAR more forgiving when I was in) take advantage of that understanding. Taking someone away from their family for a year is understandable. It's a risk you understand when you sign the contract. Taking them away from their families for a year several times in a short time-span is unforgivable.
""Our thoughts are with him and his family," said Deluce." usually that is something you say when someone is dead.St John's and Halifax are not that far apart... I can't see why the co-pilot couldn't have just taken them to St Johns. The midway point is only something like 30-40 minutes into the flight..

Bill Russell Changed the sport. 9 Titles beats MJ's 6, and he led the way for the Integration of the NBA. If any number is retired it should be his. Lebron needs to learn some history and earn a few rings before he can spout off.
It's a big young adult daycare for them. I don't know if you can ruin a city, that way, though? I mean, look at the 'yuppies' in the 80s - they became a part of the city too.I don't think the Columbia/NYU out-of-state hipsters are much different.Gentrification is probably what ruins the city more.
