It depends on what you're writing. If you're writing a fart app, development can take just a few weeks; most of the work would involve farting into a microphone. But if you're writing a video game, development can easily take a year or more. I've spent the last 10 months working on and off on an iPhone game, and you will not believe how much work it is to create a cool game. The coding part isn't that bad, it's the graphics part that's a kick in the ass. This game I'm writing consists of over 400+ different graphic files and it's still not done. And after you have the basic structure done, you have to build levels, add sound effects, minimize bugs, and whole host of other problems you run into just to make the game fun. While it's a ***** load of work to build a video game, it's still an incredible opportunity for small developers to even have a chance at competing with the big boys.
you sound fun to hang out with/s

Thanks for clearing that up :).
I understand that part. Basically they are driving up commodity prices with other people's "boatloads of money" rather than their own. Why drive up the price artificially when you can trick others into doing it for you right? All that I get, I just don't see a few big balance sheets really moving the price of oil that much. Realize that the people spending all that money on oil futures have some responsiblity to ensure that the reported figures are accurate. At some point, caveat emptor.Furthermore when prices normalize they will generally go below the normalized price due to excess capacity/reduced consumption in the market to meet these "fictional" demands. So any oil producer that benefits from this will also be hurt by it in equal measure.!

I'm kinda surprised they didn't add a 2^n amount of chips like 32,768.37,376 just kinda creeps me out. I'm not autistic, I swear.?
Kingdom Come would be hard to manage. Would be ***** awesome if they pulled it off though... |

Roadkill itself is surprisingly popular, too. In Massachusetts, many police departments used to keep lists of people who wanted to be called in the event of a kill so they could come out and scoop it up, presumably because "thems good eatin'." Last I heard the state department of health was frowning on the practice.

yep. space exploration is important; we don't know what resources we will derive from it 100-1000 years from now that will help humanity a great deal, and research now is in fact needed.
