I'm not saying it's always been like that...But in the past 50 years, it's become 'The American Way' to make the most money off of whatever you can, and the Health Industry is no different.
While agriculture can be "blamed" for a lot of modern day health problems (including the wear on teeth) it must also be stated that agriculture is probably the biggest contributing factor to extending human life. So no agriculture and die in your forties with perfect teeth, or agriculture and die in your 70's with no teeth (real ones anyway). Imagine how many fewer cases we'd have of heart disease we'd have if a large percentage of the population died before 50. Or cancer for that matter.

They're recommending people use 3rd party utilities to sync with iTunes now, which is exactly what they should have been doing in the first place. Blackberry has been shipping their own iTunes syncing tool for Mac for a while now.They can sync with iTunes without spoofing an iPod, it's really not hard, they just have to throw an intern at writing a little chunk of code. I never understood why they were being so childish about it. I feel like they were just looking to piss off Steve Jobs and get some free press.?
I question buying the next Microsoft console, with Live and this latest repair I've officially paid more for my Xbox than the 600 I paid for my PS3 on launch day.Just like elixirs usually give way to real medicine, I'm hoping that smart purchasing will ensure faults such as these quickly fade. |

If it's cheap enough, we'll all have access to it, then the population of the world will steady increase. If we solve the energy crises, or global warming, or any of the other myriad world-threatening issues that challenge us now, then we *shouldn't* starve. That would be too ironic - a burgeoning population of immortals starving to death due to dwindling resources.Chances are that the powers-that-be will just sit on this technology and just use it to reward their rich & powerful friends. You'd never get an immortal dictator out of power. The longer they live the more power and wealth they'll accumulate. Can you imagine an immortal Kim Jong-il?
