Ditto. I solve the easy level puzzles in about 7 minutes now, down from 25 when i first started. However, the medium level still takes me about 40 mins and I don't even think about the hard and evil levels. I saw a video of Snyder solving an easy level in 58 seconds and was really inspired and embarrassed at the same time. :)
Kids have always been stupid and have always done ***** like this. They just didn't have the option of creating a video and making it public. A gun is not an appropriate response to a bunch of kids trying to cause mayhem. An ass beating? That's warranted. Pulling a gun is a bit over the top.

“I was there for about a week in September and it was definitely like that every single morning. Got a couple of really fantastic shots of Alcatraz coming out of the fog, too.

I take it that you are against war games of any kind? It's just a game man, nothing more. If anything, these games honor the horrors that the war veterans went through. Perhaps it is a morbid way to not forget.I do understand your feelings on wanting to protect the integrity of our fallen fathers. After all, what they did was beyond the call of duty and took much courage, and honor..

***** Omar bin Laden. He is selling books and gaining fame based on his father's name - a name soaked in blood.Maybe Dylan Klebold's mother should write a juicy tell all - profit from the blood soaked into her son's name.No matter how Omar slices it - he is selling books because he is related to a murder -and that is precisely that angle he is working to sell those books. Profitting from the blood spilled by his father. |

I see what you mean with the 9/11 Commission, but I have to disagree with your write-off of War and Peace. The difference between lucid and average translations is incredible; both in terms of talent in creative expression and the effect on a literary community. I see that the work of a translator is distinct from that of an original author, but illuminating translations requires a poetic sensitivity that goes beyond a dispassionately precise understanding of the language(s). If translators are capable of taking a novel that so adroitly describes the human condition and making it more accessible to English-speaking audiences, I feel it merits recognition.(The same translators also did an even more wonderful job on Crime and Punishment.)
