Wait a minute... are you saying that it's about power and control and NOT about keeping us safe?Blasphemy.
These are all just numbers. Honestly China is supposed to have a bigger economy they have 1.4 billion people. 5X as many as the US. The fact remains that your average Chinese makes about 7,000$ a year. While a average American is 48,000$ a year. Where would you rather live? How about the fact there are 170 million more boys in China then girls. So there are going to be a lot of young men without wives and not getting any pussy so the there will be social unrest. Pollution in China has surpassed the US and is on it's way to DOUBLE. China doesn't innovate. It copies almost all western ideas and technology. China is not going to be a world leader if all they sell is cheap plastic Tupperware and batman toys to the US.As China becomes a increasing world power its citizens will start to get a better education and look at the US and Europe that have free markets and gives it's citizens the ability to criticize it's governments. The Chinese citizens will want to do that too. And if the Chinese Government keeps censoring the internet and western ideologies then there's going to be problems.China and India want to drive a car to work and have big screen TVs too. Nothing wrong with that. But please, stop acting like China will just surpass the US with rainbows and butterflies.

I was just thinking that my state of Oklahoma while not a square should be easy as hell for our (retarded) senators to draw. Take a rectangle and add a squiggly line for the south border and add a horizontal handle to the northwest corner. Done. If you're from here and can't manage that you deserve to flogged as well..
if you cut $1000 that's the same as making $1000 more.!

True, but when wealth is transferred from the U.S to China and other developing countries, the dollar will sink versus their currency. In other words, their $3500 will be able to buy a lot more.
