I agree, Digg, who has several [dozen] times the active users of Reddit, should write software to make it impossible to submit stories once they get posted to Reddit. That way thousands of people would miss out on news stories while a handful of elitists could feel good about themselves for following an extra RSS feed. Well stated. It really bothers me when I hear so called environmentalists decry nuclear power because it's not perfect. It would be great if renewable energy were cost effective, reliable and could satisfy all of our energy needs but right now that's simply not the case. Hopefully it will be soon but we need to stop filling the air with toxic chemicals right now. I work in the outdoors next to a nuclear power plant and I've never thought twice about the dangers because the risks are negligible. Anti nuke sentiments are almost entirely dogmatic and they are hurting the planet.
